Grants & Subsidies

Did you know?

Every business encounters obstacles and challenges in its operational framework. These may include technological limitations, inefficiencies resulting from redundant tasks, and reliance on outdated systems.
Have you dedicated substantial financial and human resources to tackling these issues, optimizing processes, and engaging in research and development to enhance your product offerings?
It’s crucial to identify and address these problems proactively to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

If this resonates with you, you may qualify for financial assistance from government initiatives like the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program, which promotes R&D activities in Canada.

If you’re still unsure about your eligibility, please complete the short questionnaire below. We will schedule a no-obligation consultation to explore how we can effectively support your endeavours.

What is SRED?

SR&ED stands for Scientific Research and Experimental Development. It’s a program run by the Canadian government to encourage businesses, big or small, to engage in research and development (R&D) right here in Canada.

Highlights

  • Purpose: The primary objective of SR&ED is to support innovation by offering tax credits to businesses engaged in eligible R&D activities.
  •  Who Can Apply:  Any corporation, partnership, individual, or trust that carries out qualifying R&D in Canada can apply for SR&ED benefits.

Eligible Activities

The program covers a variety of research activities, including:

  • Experimental Development:  This involves improving a product or process using new technology.
  • Applied Research:  This refers to solving specific, practical problems.
  • Basic Research:  This involves exploring scientific questions without necessarily aiming for immediate practical applications.
  • Support Work: Includes activities such as engineering, design, testing, and data collection.
